About Our Day Care

At Little Frogs and Pollywogs, we have a simple mission: to move with the natural progressive nature children possess to learn while emphasizing unity, togetherness and equality.

Children learn every moment of their day.  I will be there to help your child(ren) understand what they are learning and feeling and what others may be learning or feeling as well. Operating as a unit and contributing to the well-being of other children, will encourage them to be a more selfless and thoughtful person with a helpful consideration to the functioning of their own society. I also take a learning approach that supports children teaching and learning from other children as they will anyway. I am here to guide children to teach by example and to learn from experience.

Your child(ren) will learn music and movement, arts and crafts, be read to, get physical exercise, ABC's and 123's, learn about science such as the seasons, wind and other life on earth as well as social studies. They will have free time just to play and be themselves, too. We also enjoy very frequent field trips.

My facility is a spacious 350 sqft classroom that is separate from the rest of my home with its own bathroom and access to a 0.29 acre completely fenced yard. The classroom is fully heated and air conditioned. I have an enclosed play area and a whole yard of grass with wonderful sprinklers to run through.

Every day you will receive a "Look What I Did Today" report to let you know what your little one(s) have been up to. It covers what they ate to how they used the potty and how often.

You will also feel assured knowing that your little one(s) will be getting mostly organic meals and snacks. Our kids always drink fresh bottled water and organic juice or milk.

I am a State Registered Child Care Provider. CPR/First Aid/AED Certified, I have a current Foodhandler Card and I am in the Criminal History Registry.

We are a non-smoking household.

I am currently in the process of acquiring a corp. pass to the Children's Museum. We do take field trips regularly. During the summer you can find us at the park. We enjoy lunch and games including children's yoga, ping pong, play structures and more. For those rainy days during the winter we have a great time at the Burlingame Burger King Playland! Also, we would not dream of missing indoor park.

Free Date Night!!!!

For full and part time parents you can get your groove on every 3rd Saturday of the month from 7:30pm - 10:30pm. Just bring your child(ren) with their teeth brushed and in their pj's so we can watch a movie, make a fort and tell stories.
